ElephantSQL are happy to announce that we’re now offering firewall support. This feature is enabled for all databases on dedicated plans.
By enabling a firewall to your instance, you have the power to allow/deny instance traffic based on your chosen configuration. This is a pure safety precaution and you can easily configure the firewall settings in the control panel for your ElephantSQL instance.
Enable the firewall by entering the source IP and specify which ports should be opened for that specific IP. Ports that’s not listed in the table will be blocked.
